Harris Interactive: Romney’s [so-called success] fails to excite or generate support
“State polls show that Mitt Romney is making great inroads in some of the early primary states such as New Hampshire. Nationally, however, he has not caught on, as most still do not seem to know much about him. Potentially, he can win an early state’s primary and use this to educate Americans about him and his stand on issues and to build “momentum”. But, in this year’s compressed primary schedule, it is unclear if that could actually happen. As it stands now, Mitt Romney has to work hard to educate possible voters about who he is,” writes someone—we don’t know who—for Harris Interactive in an expository flourish, rich with data neatly arranged in tables, and titled Romney’s Success Fails to Excite or Generate Support, and subtitled On Almost Every Issue, Most Adults Say They Are Not Sure About Romney.
Only Romney’s early primary state strategy now lies torn and bleeding, as we long ago predicted that it would. See:
- Romney’s early primary state strategy falls apart: Giuliani suddenly within margin of error in NH!
- the Romney electoral Schlieffen Plan halts and sputters—can more cash save it?
- Romney failing in SC—we ask: given Romney’s massive spending, why?
