In an hallucinogenic, stream-of-consciousness, eristic fantasia titled Teflon Dad, an anonymous son of Romney rants:

The Democraps can attack my dad all they want and he doesn’t even care. Actually, it shows that they are afraid. I would be too. My dad is a terrifyingly fantastic man. He is so great, if he gets the nomination and debates whatever minority yahoo the Democraps pick, it might be like that scene in Raiders of the Lost Ark when they open the ark and it is so amazing and great that it burns all their skin and melts their flesh. The Nazis are the liberals and the ark is my dad. Think about it.

PS-We are ignoring Ben’s paranoid, un-Romney like, rants … more

This cry for help spoofs itself. Even so, a closer inspection may serve to instruct.

The Democraps can attack my dad all they want and he doesn’t even care.

Comment: No, Romney does care. He benefits from the attention. Please see: Romney and the DNC: celebrity “Frenemies”

Actually, it shows that they are afraid. I would be too.

Comment: It does not follow that because Democrats criticize Romney, Democrats are afraid of Romney. Romney has also gone negative on the Democrats (with disastrous results). So, by the writer’s own standard, the writer’s father must be terrified of Democrats because they are “so amazing and great.”

See: Romney goes negative yet again! Results? Uniformly, and across the board, negative or The super-genuises at FOX news opine: Romney Sharpens Appeal to Conservatives.

My dad is a terrifyingly fantastic man.

Comment: Yes, but in what sense?

He is so great, if he gets the nomination and debates whatever minority yahoo the Democraps pick, it might be like that scene in Raiders of the Lost Ark when they open the ark and it is so amazing and great that it burns all their skin and melts their flesh.

Comment: Who talks like this? Seriously, what adult talks like this? He is so great … it is so amazing and great … Note the writer’s odd interpretation of the scene from the film: was it “greatness” or “amazement” that melted the flesh of the German soldiers and officers?

Just in case the reader didn’t get the metaphor, the writer explains it one more time:

The Nazis are the liberals and the ark is my dad.

Comment: Oh, OK., I would like to thank the writer for that interpretative key, because we thought that the Nazis were the writer’s dad and that the magic box were those evil “Democraps” because they want to attack the writer’s dad only he doesn’t even care. The writer was kind to walk us through that. We never would have gotten it otherwise.

Think about it.

Comment: OK.

PS-We are ignoring Ben’s paranoid, un-Romney like, rants … more

Comment: The writer’s father is a magic box that melts the flesh of the writer’s enemies and Ben is paranoid?
